ChildFund Vietnam representing Child Rights Working Group (CRWG) at Workshop on supporting children during the Covid-19 pandemic – For the best interests of children

At the Workshop on supporting children during the Covid-19 pandemic – For the best interests of children held on 28 October, Mr. Le Ngoc Bao – ChildFund Vietnam’s Child Rights and Child Protection Team Leader shared on behalf of the Child Rights Working Group (CRWG): “The companionship and support of businesses, “sponsors” to orphans should be well coordinated and focused. These supports need to ensure compliance with the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, 2016 Law on Children and other relevant legal documents.
 
We are committed to coordinating and sharing resources in policy advocacy activities, supporting capacity building for localities, especially in terms of human resources, technology, experience and lessons from project models, training programs for trainers… all in order to coordinate well and effectively improve the quality of child care and protection services in Vietnam”.

The workshop was organized by the Management and Sustainable Development Institute (MSD) in collaboration with the Child Rights Governance Network (CRG), Child Rights Working Group (CRWG) and the Southern Non-Profit Network (SNPO) as part of the seminar series Trending – Leading change 2021: Imprint of a Responsible Enterprise during the Covid-19 pandemic.
