ChildFund Vietnam cooperated with the Department of Child Affairs to organise the “Technical workshop to review and develop child protection services list”

On 27 June 2022, the Department of Child Affairs cooperated with ChildFund Vietnam to organise the “Technical workshop to review and develop child protection services list" in Hanoi.

Here, the independent consultant presented a report on existing services and recommended 25 services needed for children in need of protection. The report has received many positive feedbacks and comments from representatives of the Department of Child Affairs, Department of Legal Aid, Institute of Social Sciences, World Vision Vietnam and Hagar Vietnam.

The report on proposed list of child services will be further completed after the workshop and will be the basis for continuing to develop economic – technical norms for child protection public services in the future.

This activity is part of the project “Strengthening child protection system effectiveness" jointly implemented by the Department of Child Affairs and ChildFund Vietnam from 2021 to 2024.
