From 10 to 13 May 2022, ChildFund Vietnam cooperated with the Department of Early Childhood Education and the Ministry of Education and Training to survey and assess the development of 5-year-old children in Cao Bang.
The working group includes ChildFund Education Specialist and 14 experts from the Department of Early Childhood Education, Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences, Hanoi Capital University, Hanoi National University, Hanoi College of Education Pedagogy, the Department of Education and Training of Cao Bang province, and managers and teachers of the preschool in the project area of Trung Khanh district and Cao Bang city.
On this occasion, 140 5-year-old children and 140 parents in favourable and disadvantaged areas also participated in survey activities. The survey plays an important role in data analysis to amend and supplement the 5-year-old Child Development Standards to ensure better adaptability for 5-year-old children in Vietnam.
