40 computers and many meaningful gifts presented to two schools in Hoa Vang, Da Nang

On 17 May 2024, Bumhan Company, ChildFund Vietnam, ChildFund Korea, and Da Nang Youth Union held a ceremony to award computers and scholarships with a total value of up to 686 million VND at two schools in Hoa Vang District, Danang City: Hoa Nhon 2 Primary School and Pham Van Dong Secondary School.
With a newly equipped computer room, students will have the opportunity to access the Internet and expand their learning horizon. Also at the ceremony, 60 gifts including scholarships, backpacks, and textbooks were given to children in difficult circumstances as motivation for them to achieve high academic results.
In Da Nang, ChildFund Vietnam has had the opportunity to support the National Child Helpline 111 through the project “Improving Vietnam’s child protection system effectiveness” with the Department of Child Affairs from July 2021. During this visit, in addition to the gifting ceremony at the two schools, ChildFund also attended meetings with different Departments to better understand the needs of local children and community and open up opportunities for future cooperation projects.
