No. The Gifts for Good program is designed to help vulnerable and deprived children around the globe, not just children sponsored by the Australian public.

Yes! We are committed to supplying the exact gifts you have purchased to children, families, communities and schools that really need them. If however more gifts are donated than a country is able to provide, we re-allocate the funds to a similar program.

As every Gifts for Good gift is designed to support long-term development strategies, each gift is allocated based on a needs assessment. In general, Needs Assessments are conducted in collaboration with the community and community members and leaders themselves are involved in the decision as to who is most in need. ChildFund programs are committed to community participation and self-selection.

If you’re looking for a creative gift idea for your friends and family simply choose a gift from the online store that you would like to buy in honour of your loved ones. We send your funds to our ChildFund partners overseas who use the money to provide the gift you have donated to deprived children and families. You receive a gift card to give to your loved ones to show them the unique act you have performed on their behalf.

For mail order, please allow 10 days for delivery of your gift card/s. In order for you to write a personal message, we will send the gift card directly to you, and not to your friends or family. E-Cards and print at home cards will be delivered to the nominated email address instantly.

The receipt can only be sent out to the person making the donation ie the person’s details that are given on the donation form.

Yes. You will receive a tax deductible receipt for every donation over $2.

You have the option to send ecards, print a card at home or ave printed cards posted directly to you. The gift card details the difference your gift will make and all you need to do is write your personal message to whomever you have made the donation for. You can also choose to send a card with a themed cover for birthdays and when congratulations are in order, or a seasonal card for special days: Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day!

Each item in the catalogue has been selected on a needs basis. So when you buy a school kit for a child in Vietnam, that’s because educational materials have been recognised as much-needed items in ChildFund Vietnam’s program areas.

Sponsorship funds are used to implement long-term development programs, which are designed to set communities on the path to self-sufficiency. Gifts for Good help boost existing program work by providing items to aid livelihood generation and extend health and education initiatives.
