Ministry of Education and Training organises a Seminar to comment on the 5-year-old Child Development Standards with the support of ChildFund Vietnam

On 10 June 2022 in Hanoi, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) held a Seminar to comment on the 5-year-old Child Development Standards with the support of ChildFund Vietnam through the project “Ready for primary School”.
Participating in the seminar were more than 40 delegates, including the group of experts who drafted the 5-year-old Child Development Standards and experts from the Ministry of Health, the Department of Early Childhood Education (Ministry of Education and Training), Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences, Nguyen Tat Thanh University (Ho Chi Minh City), National College of Education, Hanoi National University of Education, Hanoi Metropolitan University, and organisations for children in Vietnam. Besides, representatives from 13 provincial Departments of Education and Training also participated in the forum online.
In addition to sharing the results achieved after testing the standards in Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang province, experts also made many important comments to help amend and supplement the 5-year-old Child Development Standards to ensure better adaptability for 5-year-old children in Vietnam.
