Hoa Binh – On 23 December 2024, the Foreign Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) Aid Advocacy Conference (PCP) took place with the aim of strengthening cooperation between NGOs and local authorities to promote sustainable development.

At the conference, ChildFund Vietnam was recognised by the leadership of the Hoa Binh Department of Planning and Investment (DPI) for nearly 30 years of partnership with the province. Mr Bui Quang Diep, Director of the DPI, highly appreciated ChildFund’s projects, stating that they not only align with the province’s development plans but also contribute to enhancing local management capacity and bringing about positive changes in the community.

Speaking at the conference, Mr Nguyen Sang, ChildFund’s Regional Manager in Hoa Binh, reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to continuing its collaboration with the province, expanding development programmes, and seeking additional international funding. He emphasised the necessity of supporting disadvantaged communities in areas such as child protection, education, healthcare, digital transformation, and climate change adaptation. He also expressed confidence that, under the leadership of the Provincial People’s Committee and with the joint efforts of NGOs and the local community, Hoa Binh will continue to achieve new milestones in sustainable development.
