New MV “Who lifts children’s wings” released – A call to join hands to protect children

The Department of Child Affairs (Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs) has recently collaborated with ChildFund Vietnam to release the music video “Who lifts children’s wings”. The song carries a message calling for everyone to join hands to protect children from violence and abuse, while at the same time promotes the National Child Helpline 111 to the community.

The MV has attracted volunteer participation from young artists such as musician Le Xuan Duc and his son (often known by the stage name “Bo con Sau”), singer Pia Linh (artist featured in Den Vau’s popular song “Nau an cho em”), and singer Lam Phuc (Vietnam Idol 2023 runner-up).

The MV is one among a series of activities of the project “Strengthening child protection system effectiveness” jointly implemented by the Department of Child Affairs and ChildFund Vietnam. After 3 years of implementation from 2021 to 2024, the project has achieved encouraging results such as contributing to raising community awareness about accessing services, information, and reporting cases of child violence and abuse through a series of creative communication activities. The project also strengthens channels for reporting and receiving information on child protection such as App 111 and Zalo 111, applies artificial intelligence in interacting with users through automatic messages and voice chat, and builds and successfully implements a case management software. In addition, the project also supported to build capacity for the Helpline staff and develop economic and technical norms for child protection services.
