ChildFund Vietnam received the merit for its contributions in Vietnam

Nguyen Thi Bich Lien and Mr. Vuong Dinh Giap, Acting Country Directors of ChildFund Vietnam participated in the conference on reviewing the implementation of the National Program 2013-2017 conducted by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) in December 2017 in Hanoi.

The participants are about 200 representatives from the Government’s ministries, departments, agencies and provinces and foreign NGOs operating in Vietnam. In the meeting, the representatives discussed about the review of the National Program for the Promotion of Foreign NGO Assistance 2013-2017 and building up solutions for improving the project effectiveness in future.

On this occasion, ChildFund Vietnam received the merit on recognition by VUFO for its significant contributions over the 2013-2017 period in Vietnam. The reward was selected based on the criteria of operating process in Vietnam, project/ program performance, disbursement value, local policy compliance and partnership. 

VUFO representative highly appreciated the contributions of ChildFund and other foreign NGOs in the poverty reduction and sustainable development process in Vietnam and looked forward for the continuous support in the next period.

 Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Lien, on behalf of ChildFund Vietnam, received the merit on recognition by VUFO for the organisation's significant contributions over the 2013-2017 period in Vietnam.

ChildFund Vietnam was recognized as one of 48 honoured foreign NGOs selected from over 600 foreign NGOs operating in Vietnam.
