Mai Thi Thuy Hao – Health Specialist
Hao joined ChildFund in August 2009. She holds a master's degree in Public Health from Hanoi School of Public Health. Hao is the focal point for ChildFund in Vietnam on health projects and cross cutting health elements in all ChildFund in Vietnam programs. She ensures the technical quality and capacity building aspect of health program/ projects. Prior joining ChildFund, Hao has many years working in medical and nutrition field at international and local agencies.
Do Hanh Chi – Economic Empowerment and Civil Society Specialist
Chi started working with ChildFund from February 2017. She ensures the technical quality and capacity building aspect of Active Citizens program/ projects, being the focal point for ChildFund in Vietnam on Economic Empowerment and Civil Society projects and its cross cutting elements in all ChildFund in Vietnam programs. Before joing in ChildFund, Chi had had more than 8 years of experience in women’s rights, education and other community development programs at international non-governmental organizations in Vietnam. Chi holds a Master's degree, majored in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India.
Nguyen Thi Kieu Trang – Communications Manager
Working in ChildFund since Oct 2011, Trang is responsible for overall management of communications activities of ChildFund in Vietnam. Her core areas of practice include internal and external communications, capacity building and technical support for community development project communications activities as well as contributing to the organisational development. Trang holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Studies Pedagogy from Thang Long University, Hanoi.
Luu Ngoc Thuy – Development Effectiveness and Learning Manager
Thuy joined ChildFund in September 2013. As a Development Effectiveness and Learning (DEL) Manager, she is in charge of leadership, management and supervision for all activities of DEL team. Prior to ChildFund, Thuy had 8-year working experience in development sector for different International Non-Governmental Organisations at various positions in which the Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor was her latest. Thuy graduated from Hanoi University of Foreign Studies, BA in English. She holds a Master's degree in Development Studies, the University of Melbourne, Australia.
Mai The Long – Hoa Binh Provincial Manager
Long joined ChildFund in October 2015 as Provincial Manager in Hoa Binh province. He is responsible for the overall management of the Hoa Binh office’s daily operations including human resource management, planning, implementation and supervision of all aspects of program and activities for ChildFund Vietnam in Hoa Binh. He has had 20 years of working experience in the fields of healthcare, emergency response, rural enterprise expansion and livelihoods development in Vietnam at various private companies, bilateral, ministerial and international organisations. Long holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics at Foreign Trade University and a master degree in Economic Expertise & International Projects Management at the University of Paris 12.
