Photo: Teachers are using ChildFund’s Child-Centred Spaces as temporary classrooms while schools are rebuilt.
The classroom has an excited atmosphere. People are discussing about tasks in their teams and the trainer is introducing a presentation. A voice from a female group singing a song from a corner of the classroom:   “The Vietnam nation is green Keep our lives lasting long It’s up to your actions Only your actions!”
The Vietnam Health and Environment Management Agency (VIHEMA) under the Ministry of Health, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Partnership Coordinating Unit (RWSSP) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Representative Office of ChildFund Australia in Vietnam jointly held the “CLTS – Practice and experiences – sharing from ChildFund and other NGOs’ Water and Sanitation projects” workshop on 04 October 2013 in Hanoi.
ChildFund in coordination with our local partner in Nam Phong commune, Hoa Binh province has held an opening ceremony for Ong satellite school on 29 August 2013. The school was built thanks to the financial support from Hanwha Life Vietnam through ChildFund Korea and ChildFund in Vietnam.  
Early in Aug 2013, ChildFund in Vietnam and its local partners in Nguyen Phuc and Duong Son commune in Bac Kan province have put two newly built health care centres in use. Thanks to these newly built and well equipped facilities, over 4000 people in these two communes will definitely have much better access to health care services. Minority women and children will also benefit from health care project activities which are designed based on their need and situation.
